Car still runs very good (83K)...local mechanic just changed all fluids/filters and he can handle the Sensor job. Need CA smog cert so need to fix the P1147 issue. I believe this is the Right/Passenger Downstream O2 Sensor (about $80 local parts store) correct? I understand there has been some issues with these Sensors but any advice is appreciated. Will an ECM reflash be required? Mechanic also said plugs may be a good idea now. He had previously told me don't bother because it runs well.Smog Cert is required by the 8th. :^(THANKS!Bob

no ecm reflash is needed, i replaced mine a couple of thousand miles ago, if ones bad, its best to replace both at the same time.

80$ for one is a ripoff, i bought 2 Bosch o2 sensors off amazon for i think 85 or 90$

edit: here are the exact ones i bought

http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-15...r=8-1

just checked the boxes in the garage.

then all you have to do is splice 3 wires from the old connection underneath, theres a mini waterproof box included in this and they work great.

and if you need them by the 8th, if you add like 2nd day shipping, this will all cost you like 95$ or so for 2 sensors.
