is it normal for the exhaust manifold to glow red after running it hard u can only see it at night its the stock manifold and turbo ?????

ohh i was on it full throttle for about 10 mins testing it out

I was flooring my car for about 5 minutes on the highway and it was bright red. I could see the manifold through the heat wrap. the hot side of the turbo was bright red too.

whats your timing set at? retarded timing has this effect also.

check your timing but your straight.

even at 15dbtdc after hard pulls you will see exactly what you saw.

thats 900 degree celcius EGT's right there for ya.
