hey guys, i have an 89 s13, i was driving to work two days ago, and i decided to warm my car up before i actually left, i go out to my car after about 10 minutes of letting it idle, and the temp gauge is still cold, so i start driving and it raise slowly but surely, so i turn the heat on, and it just starts blowing cold air at me and my *** is freezing....so i turn the heat off and just blow it to the window, by the time i got to the parking lot of my work, the temp gauge was all the way on H, i thought something was gonna blow up because this wierd noise started coming from the front of my car.

i've driven my car about 3 times since then and it still blows cold air, i have a/c and i know that works, my heat was working fine before that incident, i have no idea what it is, so if anybody could help me out, i'd appreciate it.

thanks-faizan

whoa, stop driving and do some checks real quick. that sounds like a dead ringer for low coolant level. pull the radiator cap off(engine cold) and check the level of coolant in the radiator.

any ethelene(sp?) glycol coolant will work (neon green color, not the red stuff). to top it off, open the bleed valve and fill the radiator, and you need to find the leak before you drive anymore if possible.
