I used a DREMMEL Tool and cut out slits in my plug cover in order to let heat out. This will prolong the coil packs life. This is an idea for those who like to keep the cover. Put my hand over it, lets heat out excellent!Lot cheaper than the TOMEI for SR20.

i am reluctant to cut holes in mine because whenever its off i get tons of sand and stuff around the plugs. its so annoying trying to vacuum out everything so i can take the plugs out safely. anyone else notice this? ah whatever.

looks good man, let us know how it works out for you. a little fresh paint and itll be good to go.

you could stick some computer case fans on it to make it extraction (either run on a temp switch along with your electric fans, or with that nice brown wire +12 )

i would make a new one out of aluminum to mount fans on before i would hack apart a stocker tho (and maybe make a bunch and sell them )
