Heat blower problem

Hi, I have a 93 240sx. I'm a beginner to cars..

My heat/cool blower works on 1 and 4 but not on 2,3. How can I fix this? I've been reading posts about the blower resitor. Where is this area located?

Also, if there are any posts that talk about this please send me them, I wasn't able to find ones that relate to me.

Replace the blower switch. The resistor is not your problem. When it goes out it only works on 4.

I suspect your switch has bad contacts. If you can manage to disassemle it you may be able to clean the contacts with some isopropal alchol and reuse it. If you can find some dielectric grease you will want to ad a thin coat of it to the contacts in the switch.

its the little switch you use to turn the heater on. the one that has 1,2,3,4 on it.

Oh ok..thought it was something else. My bad. Would there be any other issues around this problem?
