Howdy folks, first time post! I've been lurking for years but never felt like I could add to the discussion and was always able to figure out what I was doing by all the stuff already posted...until today.

I have a 2+2 NA, it's been sitting up this winter waiting to me to get time to work on repairing front end damage that I took when a teenager turned left in front of me. I started the car every few weeks just to make sure it didn't sit too long etc.. Apparently at some point I didn't get the hood latched back down and during the tornado's we had here a few weeks back it got yanked up, several times by the look of it. What WAS a brand new harness less than 2 years old is now a chopped up mess. Now I'm ok with a soldering iron but at this point I'm wondering if I can even identify where all the wires should go, much less get them all together and working again. The only reason I'm willing to try is this was a $500 replacement and I just hate wasting money. Here's some pics of what it looks like now, if you folks think it's worth a try I'm going to need some advice on figuring out where everything should go...should I try it or is this just butchered beyond repair at this point?

Not sure the embeds are going to work, here's a link to the shared album on google https://goo.gl/photos/UuNnP37caENvwndr6
As you can see, it's pretty chopped up..what ya think?

We all hate wasting money, its really up to you. If you want to put the effort in to find all the wires you should be able to, everything is color coded. You're gonna need a lot of solder, a few tips and TONS of patients. IMO its just worth buying a new one, if it has some other damage and comprehensive insurance, they should cover it.

I replaced mine with one from wiring specialties. Best money I have spent yet. However, if you need it, I have my stock harness still. It's completely intact aside from a couple broken injector clips. Even if you didn't use it on your car, you could use it to put yours back together. It's yours if you cover the shipping. Just let me know.
