Car: Beater 240sx 1990 Buddy Club Spec II

So I was driving my car today all of a sudden it starts to rattle and shake violently...I don't know what's wrong. It can't hold an idle. I have an idea that it's the timing chain but I'm not sure. Any one have any idea what's wrong? 1990 KA24E 2XXXXX miles

Check/clean your MAF and connection, change your spark plugs and check the connection on your water temp sensor. It would be one of those. Easiest to clean the maf first. Happened to me when i first bought my pignose. Ended up being a combo of all 3.

I would also check the distributor, make sure everything is clean and tight.

Thanks i found the problem...the threading of the head got stripped or something and the spark plug popped out...rethread
