I got into my car this morning to go to work and started hearing a low hollow rumble/vibration coming from the back left tire. It's accentuated when the rear tires hit a bump. After hearing it on the way home from work, I parked the car where it's normally parked and noticed something had leaked around the back left tire.

Does anyone know what this is or what it's attributed to? Suggested fix? As always, any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Phil

That is exactly what happened to me last year a blown strut. I replaced both rears at once with all the rubber pieces as well. All the parts I bought from Infiniti Parts USA for about $380ish I believe & had a local shop install everything for about $150.00.

It is recommend to replace both rear struts at once.

Make sure your tire is properly balanced. Tire imbalance causes vibration and noise.

The dude at Big O says no one is making those parts anymore and that I'd have to take my car to a dealer. I don't want to do that. Does anyone know the best place to get them online? Do I just need to buy two of these?...:

Thats your best bet unless you have a J in a junkyard close. And that would be a gamble.

You should also change all of the rubber 4-5-6 and 11 in the drawing

Which one of those 2 do I pick for the touring edition? And can you point me to the page with the rubber pieces on that site?

That is exactly what I did when I did mine & for $22 more I changed # 7 as well, the spring seat, it is also rubber.
