I've been using regular gas lately instead of Premium, could that be contributing to the knocking i've been hearing in the morning when i'am warming up before heading out to work.

Regular shouldn't cause knocking in the VQ35 unless there's something wrong (like a bad knock sensor--that trips the ECU or not on 6th gens).

My 95 is loud upon start upbut when it warms up it isvery quiet
