Trying to get a thread going on aftermarket headunits. I know there are plenty of people on the forum who have aftermarket units. Please post the unit name, pictures, and describe the fit and any pros and cons to the unit. I'm looking at upgrading my headunit this spring and want to get the ideas all posted on here!

Currently I have the Piomeer 4300ub. It's a single din unit

Pros: Cheap ($120 shipped from Crutchfield), usb input with Ipod controls, selectable button color display,
Cons: Display can be hard to read depending on what color you choose, takes forever to find specific artists/songs if you have a large library. Fit is kinda weird cause I couldn't get the trim ring to work.

So get those headunits on here, I know they're out there!

Kenwood DPX 505

Pros: fits perfect. You can change the background screen from white when lights on to black with lights off instead of just dimming. You can program the dimensions of your car- height from speaker to height of your ear blah blah or pick from presets sedan 1 sedan 2 wagon 1 wagon 2 tr...zzzzzzzz to adjusts the timing out of the speakers or something, LED color selector (only 3 colors). Only two nobs and three buttons so its easy to figure out. Comes with remote.

Cons: hard to see in the daytime NO MATTER WHAT SETTING!!! The program the dimensions BULL**** is ridiculously hard and confusing. There is only the LED color choices Red Green and Blue.

Pics soon
