I don't think our units have codes or anything like that from what I understand...so you're probably okay...but perhaps someone else can confirm.

Thanks. Still trying to figure out what is causing my broken steering wheel control situation.

Historically, Nissan vehicles allow you to swap headunits with no extra drama required. That's in contrast to Honda for example where you would need a code for the thing when you disconnect your battery.
