The connection on the headunit harness...where the nav hack takes place...are those connections (the male and female) proprietary to Infiniti, or can I buy them at a car spot like pepboys or something?

more than likely infinit/nissan peices. what are you exactly trying to do?

ok thanks, I wanted it so I didnt have to cut the wiress for the hack, and I wasnt going to spend $100+ for the gizmo on the market.
