I have a sr20det, I replacing the headgasket and putting in ARP headstuds. The instructions that came with the studs says to thread in the studs untill they stop and then tighten down the nuts. Is this correct? What torque to tighten to? Should I tighten then loosen and then tighten again? And last should I use some sealant on the gasket, if so what kind?

Thanks,Andrew

no sealant on the gasket. once the studs are installed follow the factory torque sequence.

No. If you're paranoid, you can put it around the looped section of the headgasket for the front cover and the same section for the chain like Tomei does, but not necessary.
