What can i do besides by a new one, or could this just be a wiring problem, seems to work like once a month, when it wants too!!!

is it turned on? there should be a knob similiar to a trip odo reset on the right side of the speedo/tac in the gauge cluster that turns it on and off. are you by chance turning it on and off? if thats not your problem if you know how to solder you could fix whats most likely wrong with it! the problem cold be a cold solder joint on the back of the speedo head.

no, it is deffinately not working, i have tried turning it on and off, as well as adjusting the lighting intesity. i do know how do solder, could you explain the speedo head and how and what to acsess, i would apreciate the help, i would like to get this working, it does work from time to time, but when it goes out, both the heads up and the normal illumination for the mph's goes as well. so i havent been able to tell my speed for some time now!!!
