Has anyone had their headliner repaired? Specifically my headliner is loose at the right rear corner. Appears to be an issue with the "cable" mechanism. I found both ends of a torn cable which I tied together. But still does not pull the headliner taught. Is this an easy DIY fix? Or will dealer fix it, an upholstery shop, or a body shop? Seems like I would want to take it to someone who has done this before. I'm in Austin, TX. Many thanks!

Hope you have already found a fix for this issue.

It is possible to replace the headliner cabling in many cases, but it is a pretty awful job I would not recommend to the average DIYer. The headliner is similar to many others on the market and the upholstery shop we used for years did an excellent job with them. It is now something done in house and after doing about 10 of them I can get it done in slightly under book time of 1.7, but they still suck.
