While cutting out my old windshield to replace it, I accidently cut into the headliner. I want to repair it, and am looking for the easiest, most cost effective, and cleanest way to do that. If it helps make any suggestions, I do intend to dye it black. I want a really trick solid black interior.

Stock headliner. It is kind of a compressed paper particle deal. Pretty similar to cardboard, but not couragated. I thought about wood glue, but I don't know. I want to try to do it without replacing the whole thing.
