So my stereo in my car is huge. Ginormous, 4 15's on 2000rms watts. So it used to shake the piss out of my car, then I sound deadened the doors, hatch and some interior panels and it quiet downed ALOT, but I notice my roof is still the culprit of ALOT of rattling and even wind noise.

Obviously to sound deaden the inside of the roof I have to get the headliner off, but I cant really imagine how exactly you would remove it from the car in one piece and what all has to be removed and what doesnt have to be removed, theres just so many panels connecting to it that look like there holding it in place you know

whats gotta be done? hope someone has done this before

Wondering the same as far as road noise. the road noise from up top is loud and not just wind noise. Seems like there is a huge entry at some point. Do you have a rack up there like I do?I was getting strange ideas about spray foam via rack entry points and then had a good talk with myself about being foolish. You can try playing around with rack slides but it didnt stop mine like some said worked.

Long time ago I took off the top rack just to check if it reduces noise. I remember it didn't change anything, still the same noise level.

I wanted to reduce noise. It sounds to me the noise is from everywhere, not from a particular area. So I gave up.

gotta pop all the plastic pieces off that butt up to it, and take the dome lights and overhead console off. if you dont see any screws around the edges where you popped the trim off, then i would think that its only friction clips from that point on.

I was just peeking at my **** when I was driving home and I really dont even get how you would even take out all the panels, like literally every panel from the car goes up and touches the damn headliner, I think Id end up doing more damage to the clips alone trying to get this **** down from there.........

any easier ideas? someone has to have done this before!

I'll post pics of the systme when I get this done, as when Im doing this Im installing 3 more tvs, xbox, CDT component set, 20" Boss rims and a few more nic nacs to get the girly wet in the lounge seating

WOT -"a few more nic nacs to get the girly wet in the lounge seating"

You think that is cool? Talking like that?

What about women who might want to read about thier Pathys?

They don't have to read your Post you say?

Or " your the man and you can get them all wet?"

Real cool. You guys are something else who type this junk.

I though forums were about sharing how to info and helping each other?

Talking about How you f-ing ride is the pimp this and you are such a player and such, is not important. So don't put it down.

While it may seem like this is how bad dudes talk, it reads like a bunch of punks. I doubt most of you are as ignorant as you sound, so why not at least try to be aware that others read your post.

this is not just your comment here WOT, it is a theme I see among other members. Fire away at me, but ask yourself when you calm down...

Maybe there was something to this?

The guy asked about my stereo, I told him a couple big mods I had done to the vehicle. You have a problem? If a girls old enough to be reasearching her vehicle, Im sure shes heard and seen much worse than me talking about getting my girlfriends panties wet. As it is just a common term, that many people use, and she would probably understand/assume that I dont actually unbutton my girls pants and take a wipe to see exactly how much secretion is coming out of her vagina area lol

But yes, my girlfriend likes my car, and we enjoy being in it for many reasons, panty wetness being one of them.

And yes, Im such a player/pimp/ricco suave whatever you just said, Ive been with the same and only girl for 8 years, Im 22.

This is the internet.

Thanks for NOT helping with my question though, as I have yet to tackle this headliner project yet, dont even know if I could get it done in a day
