So I noticed that the rear center of the headliner of my 07' M45 is falling or starting to fall in the back in the middle. Kind of looks like a large bubble forming. How can this be fixed and what type of place other than the dealer can I bring it to to have it fixed? This car is falling apart soon for 85k miles and garage kept.

Sucks to hear you're having so many issues with your car. My car had 75% more mileage than yours and I had none of these issues (see my response in the other leather seat thread). Where do you live? Hot climate? (update your profile)

That being said, you could go to any custom car shop or upholstery shop. Possibly even a detail shop could correct that. I used to detail cars for a guy when I was like 17 who was a one-stop shop...even did minor interior repairs.

To clarify, is only the perforated headliner fabric sagging or is the cardboard-like material sagging as well? If just the fabric, then it's easily fixed by upholstery places as mentioned. If it's just a small patch at the back edge, look into just regluing it in place. The chore is removing the headliner from the car, if they have to.
I have removed and rewrapped a couple of headliners in my day. I bought some fabric from walmart and used 3M spray adhesive. I have also opted to just replace entire headliners from the junkyard. Nissan doesn't usually have headliner issues like the Europeans, so a used headliner might do you well.

Hot, south TX heat, but again, this is a first. It is just the fabric falling. It is not falling from the edges. Probably a good 20" diameter circle of the fabric that came loose behind the sunroof. I know of that 3M adhesive, but getting it completely separated would be the concern unless it just peels right off the headliner subform material. I don't even know where an Auto upholstery shop is these days. Never had to use one.

Sorry, I was hoping it was at the very back when you said rear center. I agree that that particular place might be tricky to just reglue. I have never tried to reuse the existing headliner fabric so I had way more leeway when it came to alignment.
How about you use a few thumbtacks to hold the sag up for now?

That would look sweet....
Auto upholstery shop is what you want.

Well, when you put it like that...
There are push pins made for headliners. I've seen a lot of ways to fix sagging headliners in different forums; some temporary and some permanent. I guess for me it depends on how often I look up at my headliner to see how it's attached vs. how much I look at that sag in my rear view mirror.

I guess if the "thumb tacks" pretty much disappeared it would be a good temp. fix. A lot cheaper than upholstery shop for sure.
