Headliner Cleaning

Not sure why Infiniti put such a light colored headliner along with a texture rich fabric. My ceiling has smudges and door pillars are pretty dirty since they are rubbed up against everytime the seatbelts are reached for. Is there a way to clean them without causing too much damage as well as making sure they don't sag in the long run after cleaning? Would dying the liner be an option later on when the liner has gotten real bad?

Go to Home Depot and purchase some "Folex." Spray it into a microfiber towel and rub the spots until they are gone, apply more cleaner as needed. Get a fan and aim it the headliner to dry it.

Yet another reason why I changed my headliner to dark suede. :D

hey do you have any pics of your headliner after you changed i have been thinking about doing this for a while

How much did changing out the headliner cost? just wanted to see how much cash i would be dropping in the future. Dying would also be an option if it's done right..

I have heard that this stuff works pretty well.

Hey guys, I posted pics a while back--let me see if I can search for the thread. It costs about $1000, but I knew the guy. Expect to pay more if you want *every* piece dyed and double cleared like mine. :D Most shops want to skip the visors too--looks terrible.
