I have a 93 Pathfinder 4X4 with about 250K. This just happened today. When I got home I turned the ignition off and the lights stayed on. I noticed because the bright lights indicator on the instrument panel was on. I pulled both fuses for the lights for right now (to save the battery) and they went off. It sounds like there is a relay somewhere that is stuck. Any help? I have already searched the forum for a solution.

I will give it a shot in the morning. I was able to fix the brights about 2 months ago by taking the switch assembly apart in the column and cleaning the contacts with sandpaper and contact cleaner. I take it that the switch in this case is in the arm?

Thanks for the info. I will post a reply when I fix it.
