Ok,I was doing a ground bypass on my friend's 91 240sx.Wiring in an SPST momentary on switch to the ground wire of the headlight down assy. When I dropped the kick panel and gingerly pulled the wires down to give me more room to work with, one of the wires shorted out. No big deal, blown fuse... Or so I thought. Now her sleepy lights are hooked up as I did on my own car but her headlights do not go up... or down. Stuck down. Anyone have this problem??? I checked ALL of the fuses and they were fine, but I think it may be a relay that burned up... I wish I had overnighted my service manual but I don't have it yet and I don't want her to have to crank the lights up all of the time.My friend at Nissan said some of the positive wires coming off of the battery have a fusible strand inside them, but they are fine as well.Any advice as to relay locations and/or testing procedures? Or is there another component I should check??? TIA

dead as a doorknob... I suspect that the relays are tossed, I located them last night. But I still would like to know a good testing procedure for them. If anyone has a FSM and wants to help by telling me the testing procedure for the headlight motor relays located on the drivers side engine compartment by the air box... TIA!!!
