Headlights won't go down!!!!!

I posted this earlier and had no response. The switch on the interior is not the problem, I think.

You said in your other thread the motors make noise? Or do you mean the relays?

the relays were ticking. I think. The motors can be worked to the down position, when I touch the headlight switch they come up, but won't go down. Also when the headlights are rotated down, they respond up when the lights are turned on. I am at a stuck position. I know that I could start replacing parts but that would just cost me more money in the long run.

you need to determin weather or not the motors are recieving the signal to go down, you got a volt meter?

I have a volt meter and live near him. If you have a wire diagram that could point us in the right direction it would help. colors would be best. Thanks

i dont have any for an 89. but could probably figure it out off of a 93, sure they didnt change much but it wont be what pins you need to look at or which color wire. it will just be along the lines of find ___ part and check for ___ on one of the terminals in the connector type of thing.

Did you check the fuse. Which says light control. Had the same prob. with mine.
