Bad relay maybe? I don't know of any common problems regarding that, but I know there are several (two...maybe three..?) relays that need to work in order for the headlight motors to be fully operational. Check the fuse boxes under your hood.

thanks, i figured it might be a relay. checked the elect schematic and seems there are four. can't figure how to remove them tho. don't want to break anything. so far every connector i've come across has a diffrent "trick" to get them apart. i'll work more on it tomorrow. thanks for the secdond opinion.

heh

I don't recall exactly how the retention clips work. I do remember that I shoved a small flathead screwdriver down the opening of the little clip on the side and the relay pulled right up. It takes some force. Hell - even if you do break the clip, mine are so tight they would stay in just fine without it I think.

Oh - and forget the part about the relays being blue. I was thinking of the starter relay. I don't recall what color the relays are. I'm thinking they were different colors...
