headlights up not down

hey im new at this but im 16 and just got a 1993 nissan 240sx. The headlights will go up but not down. I thought i would have been the relays but i messed with them a little bit off the battery and seems like i know nothin new please help i want my headluight down without hacing to do it by turning a knob

hey ive got a 1990 240sx and right beside the air box under air duct theres a fuse box and in it theres a fuse for the retracting of the headlights check and see if that fuse is f*cked.i hope its not the motor there not cheap.

ya i know ther not cheap hahaha because i was looking at them and they whrere like 200 or somthing like that apiece and it couldnt be the motor if they go up right....

true i dont think its the motor but have you checked that fuse

hey i dont think there are to many fuses because the ones i thought where fuses my friends said there are relay right where ur talking

Its a relay, I have the same exact problem on my 1990. I dont have a relay in its spot, so im hoping thats the only problem and its not something worse and the relay was only removed to cover up the problem.

Anyone know how much a retractable down relay would cost?

Off Topic:Performance wise I dont know, but if you leave the air intake tube thats above that fuse box off, and just have the big opening on the side of the filter box. The car is a lot louder, bassyer and meaner sounding. But i dont know if it does anything for speed, or if it hurts it. Im running bad gas at the moment.
