The concept is that you basically wet-sand the surface with varying grits and then you seal the headlight with with a 1:1 mixture of mineral spirits and helmsman clear gloss spar urethane by spreading it with a folded up blue Scott shop towel. The urethane mixture contains UV blockers that protects the finish, pretty much a clear coat.

Mine are pretty hideous. I bought the restoration kit from 3m and they were better. That is until I used a mothers headlight compound and it dried on the lens due to the hot summer sun. Some detailing shops will wetsand the headlights and do a good job for around $50.

Have you guys ever noticed how our healights taper back and recieve alot of UV rays? I can only imagine what the Jukes headlights will look like in 8 yrs as with te top set is directly ontop of the hood.

Pair of replacements for under $100 (free shipping with Amazon Prime). Great quality. Includes new bulbs. Quality is better than OEM. They also carry different projector styles in black and chrome if you want to pay a little more
