Hey guys,

I've got the OEM HID/Xenon headlights on my '08 coupe and over the weekend the driver side one turned purple and has a very slight flicker. I called the dealership because I have an extended warranty (they practically gave it to me) and the guy tells me the bulb isn't covered but the ballast might be. Anyone have any experience with this problem? Does it sound like the bulb or the ballast? Where's the cheapest place to get replacement bulbs? If it is the ballast, should it be covered? If not, is that something I can fix myself?

Thanks in advance

DDM tuning in San Diego has great prices on the whole kit. 45 bucks!

As far as your issue, it sounds more like the ballast because at least the bulb is lighting up. If anything have the dealer replace ballast and go from there.
