headlights

hello. recently i had to give up buying a 2,200 dollar 1993 white nissan maxima SE (with PLUSH package) with 111k miles for a 1,300 dollar 1990 gold (bleh) maxima GXE with 188k miles.

Now, i hate gold and i hate seeing any 3rd generation maxima without a spoiler. Im dissapointed about the mileage difference and the overall difference in features and looks, but hell this GXE is in damn fine shape and i want to give it the look the nissan deserves.

Now other then adding a spoiler and eventually painting it white or black, i want to add a pair of foglights and... Do this. I'm not sure if these are new light lenses or what, perhaps you can tell me what kind of a job this is and where i need to go to get what i need to do it.

Basically, i want to change my headlights to look like this. rather then the dull, everday looking headlights that really just dont do a fine car like the maxima any good.

I got mine at the junk yard...because I wanted them really bad. Goto bimmer sites, really cheap, maybe even glass lens' and projectors and what not. Ebay... OEM suppliers... that'll cost you a pretty penny. Best bet is prolly Ebay, but you need to be careful, headlights on there are the cheapest POS' evAr. (personal expierence with my GF's car )

and its VERY popular with the 3rd gen maximas, hell ford taurus' (2nd gens I think) are looking into this mod from us
