can i remove this shield from the headlight ... will it burn the lense ?//? h3 60w and h2 60w there s not diffrerence...

because the high beam dnt have one and the lense still there ..

and the low beam dnt light the road that good so i think because of the shield that happened ... and remove it will make it better lighting..

you can remove it or cut it but you will blind all oncoming drivers. if you wnat brighter retrofit some projectors and hids

maybe you can swap over to the jdm ones. the looklike they block the beam less then the usdm ones. at least thats how the ones in my housings are

I'm pretty sure Nissan had a good reason to put that there in the first place, and I don't think it was so your lighting could be worse.

Why else would it be there?

IMO if you remove it nothing will happen because the bulbs already have the tip covered. 9003 bulb:



Maybe back in the day the bulbs didn't have anything on them so auto manufacturers had to have that shield there
