Okay...I open up the owner's manual to see how to change that small bulb (parking light?) in the headlight cluster and the manual states, "See your Infiniti dealer" or something like that. I can't believe that I have to go to the dealer to get a turn signal, headlight or foglight changed. Does anyone have instructions on how to get into the headlight cluster???

Hey Sullymon....I replaced both the foglights and the sidemarker light in the headlight cluster. Here is a link that shows you how to do it.http://www.auto-talk.net/how-t....html

Go ahead and replace the foglights too....I have a G35 Coupe and used PIAA H4 bulbs for the foglights and 194 PIAA bulbs on the sidemarkers. It looks much better than stock!!!

Here is another thread/link with some pics....zerothread?id=203358&page=2installing fog light bulbs is the subject.

BTW the dealer will charge you about 250 to change the light....mine would not even replace them with the PIAA's

That's not the correct bulb. The one that's out on my car is a little bulb that comes on when I turn my lights on for the parking light. It's sort of at the top outside of the cluster. Maybe the 03 sedans were the only model that had these or something.

Ya the link was for changing out the foglights, but the 194 bulb is right next to it in that same cluster. Unless the G35 Sedan is different than the coupe, you should be able to follow those instructions and get to the smaller bulb too. Not sure if you can get to it from the top.

There is a very detailed description in the FSM (Factory Service Manual) starting on page LT-30. Might want to download a pirated copy free at www.phatg20.net while it's still there! You'll have to find some software to decompress it from a .rar file, but a google search will get you the freeware.

Good luck!

Well, DUH! I have a copy of the manual that I purchased online. Man, I don't know what I was thinking. Thanks; I looked it up and, sure enough, you have to remove the fender protector to change that bulb also. Seriously, I wonder how much crap the designer caught from his buddies when they all discovered that he built the car and forgot to leave an easy way to change the headlight bulbs! Reminds me of some car that Ford built many years back that required you to drop the engine to do something simple like change the plugs or the oil.
