Before the search police yell at me, i did a search and still nothing I changed the 4 relays in the engine bay, tried the regular headlight switch, manual switch on he dash and the brights. None of them open the lights.

I ran a power wire to the motor connection and the driver light cycled up and down up and down. The pass. light went up and stayed there. I checked the fuses by the driver foot fuse panel and theres only one that has anything to do with headlights and that was good. Also checked the two 15A ones in the engine bay behind the battery.

When i flip any of the 3 actions to raise the headlights, i hear the relays clicking but no motor action in the light. What the heck is going on here? I have a parts car so i can swap anything over no problem. Thanks, tyler

I can almost guarentee that not my problem. Im getting power out to the relays in the engine bay and still nothing. Even tho the motors worked w/ power hooked directly up to them, im going to pull one off the other car and see what happens.

Ok. Did your car sit for a while by any chance? Mine sat for about 3 years. Do you hear your relays clicking when you put the headlight switch on or the other button to flip em up? Maybe working together we can figure this thing out!!! Thanks.

Also, where are ALL the fuses located?

nope i tried that and it still didnt work, (Not the light controll/stalk button on the stering coulom, but the other one on the left)

i was testing my sleepy eyes, i used short wires and left the switches in the bay, to show them off, for a friend, and i put my hand down on one of the switches and it sparked. thats how mine broke

Mine do turn on and off just dont go up. Not even a sound of the motor trying. The motors work as i said befor when i hooked a hot lead right up to them.

This is so aggrivating. Nothing like spending 6 months putting a s14 SR in my s13 and being stopped by the damn headlights.

Well i didnt have any sparks or anything. They just stopped working.

I think we need a little motivation here cuz im about to just drop it off at Nissan. $20 paypal to the person who diagnoses my problem. WITH JUST reason. I dont wanna hear, fill the tires up, and they magically work .

FIXED IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Turned out it was 2 things.

1: There is a 25 amp fuse in that box behind the battery, Labeled MTR CNTRL or something close to that. Its a fuse where you can see copper element inside. My fuse was not even there for whatever reason i may have taken it out years ago for something.

Then the headlights went down but only the right one came up.

2:Even tho the light would cycle up and down when a hot lead was connected to it, from sitting, there must have been corrosion in that one spot on the motor contacts. Switched out the motor and everything works as it should!!! So happy. Hope this helps some of you other guys out!!!
