I take it your M didn't come w/ HID?

Are you looking for optimal light performance over cosmetics?

Osram Silverstars +50: 55w, 1750 Lumens

Philips VisionPlus +50: 55w, 1750 Lumens

Osram UltraHigh Output: 65w, 2100 Lumens

They can be purchased through either Daniel Stern Lighting or PowerBulbs UK.

Stay away from high wattage bulbs unless you upgrade your harness. But even then high wattage bulbs have been known to brown your housing.

HIR technology for halogens are pretty dang bright.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

Good suggestions. Thanks! Many people here use and like the Silverstars as an excellent replacement.

Using too high a wattage can cause problems with the wiring and harness. I'd recommend avoiding that issue!

i went to the website and found info for low beams to be only HID-D2S. i think that implies only the models with HID. So what goes on low beams? any of the ones you listed? high beams listed a 9005 with several to choose from. i am wanting to replace the low beams and later the high beams. thanks
