I haven't gotten around to messing with them yet but i thought i would get some opinions first....

car: 95 s14Problem: My low beam on the passenger side will not turn on when i have the low beams on... but when i turn High beams on... it will turn on... screwy?

Basically... all four lights work (driver: high, low/passenger: high,low)... however, only when i am on lowbeams does my passenger side light not turn on... what the hell is the problem?

So basically i'm running around at night with my low beams unplugged for now and just have my high beams turned on.... some people think my brights are on.. which they are... and others think i have really bright lights... any thoughts are welcome

Our bulbs are double filament bulbs, meaning that that when you have the low beams on one of the filaments is being lit up, when you have the highs' on, both filaments are lighted in addition to the high beam bulb also. Just look at your lowbeam then turn on the highbeams, the low beam will get brighter because both filaments are lit.

Seems like your bulbs low beam filament is burned out. Just replace it, its only like 8 bucks.

Its gonna be a ***** to take em out though

If the bulb is good and still not working, check your headlight switch. Im not sure if the switches are the same/similar between S13 & S14, but I had a similar problem with my 92.

The Lt low beam would not work but high beam would...The Rt low beam worked but the high beam would not

Anyway check the contacts for wear and there is also a relay built into the switch.

New switch = about $40 so try cleaning your old one 1st

Good luck!
