I want to restrict the movement on my headlights so that they come up at about half the height as normal. Is there a way to do that?

adjust them up to your desired height and unplug the motors... thats the free way to do it.

How do you want the settings of the headlights? Do you want the motors to still be operational? Or non?

Unplug the motors and just turn the knobs until they are at the height you want.

If you want them to rotate while maintaining the height you want, then you need to adjust the arm of the motor. loosen the bolt and adjust accordingly and re tighten.

This is a write up of a headlight conversion but there are some pictures on the location of the arm and what it looks like. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/792500/3

The motors will still run in a 360 motion though.

Or a better way, pull out your manual headlight up/down button next to your steering wheel, cut the brown wire, and push it in, then turn on your headlights, and shut off again, notice they stay up, now click on and off the button real quick, and notic they go down some. keep "clicking" untill desired height.

Thanks a bunch for the help! The way my lights are set now.. makes it look like my brights are on... they are angled in such a way that my lights shine right into the persons rear view mirror. so this is why. i do like the looks of your lights leash and that is something i will consider doing to my own ride.
