My car was in a wreck when i bought it so i purchased a whole new front end and now the drivers side headlight wont work... we checked to see if there is power and there is power but i believe that its not grounded... so how should i go about fixing this buy a whole new wiring unit? or try to manually ground it??

wiggle your head light switch while turning it on and off and see if you can get the light to illuminate, Bad head light switches on nissans are pretty common around those years.

i'll try but its just the plug i should say..... that the motor from the headlight plugs into the one from the car that makes the headlight motor go up and down

OOOH you mean the electrical connector. I dont believe that is available seperately you may have to cut one from a harness at the wreckin yard.

I think your head light switch is jacked up and not supplying a ground. So I dont think it will work een if you do the half up light setup.

Ok.... sorry nistech im prob confusing u alot the passenger headlight works... but the motor doesn't go up and down because of the cut plug.... and my drivers side headlight doesn't light up but the motor works.... but the wire running from the car has power... its a three prong thing the top has power but the other two i think are grounds.... so ima ground that and see if it works i was just wondering if i got the sleep eye conversion if it could make my pass. side headlight go up and down manually

the light not illuminating is likely a problem with the head light switch. I am not sure whats involved with the conversion so i cant say weather or not it will pop up or not. Try asking in 240 technical about that as many of them have done the conversion.

sorry for the hijack, but i have an s13 that was recently in a very minor fender bender and ever since my passenger light wont lightup, sometimes it will, sometimes it wont. I checked for power with a test light and it gives off about half the voltage of the driver side (3 prong connector, top one is power).

u think it's possible that my headlight switch is messed up as well?

or its another issue?
