Headlight upgrades

I have a 2003 Murano with basic headlights that were never much good in city driving let alone the back country roads I am on now. Can I replace the headlamp assembly with halogen or even xenon without having to change all the wiring? I found a site that sell DIY xenon upgrades but, I think the headlamps had to be halogen to begin with which mine are not. Anyone know a good place to get upgraded headlamps?

Your 03 basic headlights are using halogen bulbs, and you're right, they suck. The most viable upgrade would be a set of OEM xenon (HID) headlights which involves swapping out the headlight assemblies and some minor wiring work.
