New oem headlights-Phillips 9012 +130% bulbs for low beams. Much better than stock. HIgh beam Phillips are fine. Have installed LED bulbs in my Subaru, great result. Tried two brands of 9006 LED bulbs, both wiggled, poor manufacturing specifications likely cause. Other forums state that LED bulbs do not work well due to the projector style of the z32. HID bulbs can work moderately better but I do not want to make the car "non stock in appearance". It is a true classic. Any alterations that I do are not visible, such as the 9012 bulbs. Is there an LED bulb that yeilds much better lighting or should I just stick with the Phillips +130% low beam bulbs? Thanks.

DUDE, punctuation and sentence structure would make your thread MUCH easier to read. In short, if you want it to look stock than keep halogens, LEDs won't produce anywhere near the same spectrum as the halogens do. That said, the 99 JDM Z32s came with HIDs (in revised HID housings), so installing HIDs in the halogen projectors is not as outrageous as you make it sound. Great thing with HIDs is you can get pretty much any color you want so if you like the high 3000s/low 4000s temps it can be done, and it works fairly well.

IIRC from when I converted my old one, it was 4200k for stock. 4k should do fine

I been kicking around getting a set of non nippled lights..and retro fitting in a proper projector.
