My lights do not turn off when I turn the key. Is there a timer setting or do they automatically go off? Thanks in advance.

I am not sure what year or trim Versa you have, but I will tell you some general Nissan behavior.
There typically is a timer, in my Maxima it was a little too long for my liking - something like 1.5 minutes. One thing to remember is that the driver door has to be opened and shut after the key has been turned off.

That was if I put the headlight switch in the AUTO position. Otherwise, I usually flick it forward to OFF then back to AUTO so it goes off immediately but turns on at dusk. If you forget it in the ON position, IIRC it takes longer, but eventually turns off.
