headlight swap

I tried the search engine for this but i can't find the answer i'm looking for. I love the HID for the QX4 and i want those lights in my 03 pathfinder. Can i swap the entire headlights and wiring for the HID on to my pathfinder?

When i say entire light i mean the housing as well. Basically unbolt from QX4 and bolt into my Pathfinder. They should fit right? Will the harness for the HID connect up with no problems?

i was told the the QX4 01+ headlights wouldnt fit the pathfinderdue to the fender difference also you might need a qx4 grill for a flush mount

however the HID setup would fit in....since the pathfinder coems with the hid relays in the fuse box it makes it that much easier you might need a dimmer switch for that xenon blue light tho

i dont think you can put the housings from the Qx4 on a pathfinder.but the lights them self will fit

i went out shopping and returned to find a qx4 parked next to me luckily i had my cam as i planning to do some doughnuts later on and i took shots of both my path and qx4

i noticed the headlights on the qx4 were bigger therefore you would definitely need a qx4 grill,possibly a new hoodand that lil piece that goes under the headlight as the the qx4 lightssit closer to the bumper then a pathfinder

i think they would fit if u did some moddding to the grille and fender.. just grab a saw!!..lol..sike

gosh Qx4 are such beautiful vehicles...very sleek

dont get me wrong guys i love em both pathfinders and Qx4sits just that the Qx4 meets my needs and wants in a SUVmore then the pathfinder....im more a sleek cruiseryet can do things IF i wanted to kinda guy and the Qx does that wellthe pathfinder screams out OFF ROADING FTW from a mile away lol

fenders, hood, grille, and also you'll probably have to modify the radiator support as the qx4 headlights are alot bigger and deeper so you have to cut out part of the radiator support to make them fit (I know for sure thats what you have to do on a 97-00 Qx4 to make the 01+ lights fit)

thanks for the compliment! haha but just so you know.....i do kind of get a good vibe when i see an 01+ pathy. the front end is sportier, and the interior is better compared to the 97-00 qx4. then you got your 01+ qx4 interior which is just plain sexy.

about these lights tho, i suggest you just go out and buy a qx4, lol or just stick with your ride man, it looks fine the way it is.....and if your doing it just for HID's my qx4 has aftermarket hid in regular housing, it is a great upgrade.

I just want the HID setup. Can i just get the bulbs and ballast and hook it up. Will the pathfinder headlights affect the way the HID shines?

I would like to have Infinity OEM HID not the aftermarket. I think the aftermarket ones look cheap and don't shine as nice as the oem. If anybody knows where i can get a set of OEM HID for a good price let me know.

Yea..i just bought this truck i'm not going to swap the front just to have the HID.
