Is there anyway to adjust how dark it has to be before your lights will come on? When it gets dark and rainy, my lights don't come on till it gets REAL dark. Being that I drive a silver car, I want them to come on sooner. In TN it is a law that if your windshield wipers are going your lights have to be on.

Anyway to adjust them?

You have to bring it in the dealer and they have to adjust the sensitivity through the car's bcm.

If they charge you for it, kindly toss hot cofffee at the service manager.

I take that back, well not really lol..But a way you can do it yourself is to find the eye sensor on the dash and sort of "dirty it up" a bit. It allows the sensor to be tricked into thinking its darker outside

Sort of like what we did to the wall unit air conditioner in my dorm room. We popped the case off and put the temp sensor in a glass of water we had heated up in the microwave.

Ha, back in the barracks in Pensacola, We used to take one of the half gallon Gatorade bottles, and fill it up with scalding hot water and stack some stuff on a chair and prop it up against the A/C control unit. Made it downright frosty in there.
