how hard would it be to put the 04 Qx4 headlights in a 04 pathfinder? I haven't looked at a Qx4 so I can't tell if it would be plug and play.. Figured this would look better then just slapping in some HIDS and blinding everyone.
ps i am talking about switching over the head lamp, and ballast

Difficult - new lights, new grill, new bumper, new hood, possibly even now rad support. The '04 pathfinder has a distinct cuttoff in the head lights __/ __/ . Almost an e-code (European) beam pattern, but not quite. Filament bulb head light reflectors are not really meant for HID bulbs due to the scattering of light above the hood line. It is recommended to have either reflector headlamps that have the E-code cutoff or find projectors.
I'm not sure if the '04 Platinum LE PFs came with HIDs, but you can check. Edmunds might let you know by looking up the equipment list.

looking at the pics it looks like all I would need is the grill everything bolts right up. Get the grill and lights and just take off the emblem. Anyone good at photo shop?

looking on ebay for a nice set of headlights I'm looking at 600-800 bucks.. Would be cheaper just to do a retro fit.. But I like the look of the Qs lamps better

On the Q, the headlight/side marker/turn are one piece where as on the PF, the headlight/sidemarker/turn are separate.
Also, the lights on an '03 Q are straight at the top and on the PF, they angle down on the inner top corner.
Plus there are different heights, thus making the fenders different. It is not a plug and play by any means.
The taillights and wheels should swap easily, just not the headlights.

just had a friend look on Alldata. He said i'll need a hood and lights.. everything bolts up.. might go look at one in person tomorrow to check it out
