So I had a misshap and my passenger headlight got a bit screwed.

Basically all of the tabs broke, but the headlight itself is flawless

Thoughts? What can I do with this?

hmms...do you still have all the broken pieces and hopefully you havent throw any away, but you can go buy some 1 min or 5 min epoxy and then clamp them together and let it sit over night, and problem be fix like nothing had happen. I recommend the 5min epoxy because it'll give you a bit more time to adjust if need be. Just buy the one made for plastic and you'll be golden.

epoxy won't fix it. I've tried it and it doesn't work. There is another stuff that my autobody guy used and it's strong as heck! I can't think of the name off the top of my head but I'll find out and post it here..

I have only of the tabs that broke off... No idea where the others went. Fell out somewhere on the road, I guess. I didn't realize how bad the headlight damage was until I got home.

As for this bracket:

Looks like it would be possible to attach metal plates above and bellow it, drilling through the remaining part of the bracket.

The middle bracket thing wouldn't be needed as long as the other two get fixed.

I think I will still use this headlight for a projector retrofit. Easily expendable if I screw up, I guess.

Unless someone wants to buy it for their own retrofit? I'll sell it dirt cheap haha

How much for it shipped? I'd be willing to buy it so that I can have a practice go at baking my headlights open.

Ahh I see...very lame. Nice job on the repair though. Looks like nothing happened. Good luck with the headlight
