Headlight restoration - best product/technique??

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Thought it best to start a new thread, since I've given up on the lens cover from China (appreciate the feedback!). So, I have searched the forum but haven't seen any discussion of the best products or method to clear up the dingy/yellow appearing on my lens. Any experience out there to share???

thanks!

Did mine a couple times. The 3m kit only comes with a temporary clear coat. So if you want to prevent the headlights from yellowing again you need to apply a real one from a spray can. I used the Spraymax high gloss 2k. Did three light coats. Or you can polish it after wet sanding and put a headlight plastic film over it for UV protection.

I've done mine a few times but the yellow never seems to go away. Not sure that can be restored at this point even with respraying them with clear coat.
