Tried to find the thread that may have talked about this...

F***ing piece of metal flew up at me while on the highway  , which I tried to avoid, but it struck the driver's side headlight--which is now cracked-although may have been worse if i didn't have Xpel headlight protection film on.

Do I have to remove the bumper to replace it or can I get by with removing the grill/airbox etc. to make enough room to take everything apart?

I know a few members have swapped out their lights--I am just wondering how labor intensive this is going to be.

Does anyone have any pics of the process too?

thanks in advance

Craig

That sucks, our headlights are expensive. To answer your question yes you have to remove the front bumper. Here's the link to the service manuals the lt.pdf is the one you need http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/M/2006_M45-M35/

Sorry to hear... Have you called your Insurance company?? It might be worth a try... Comprehensive coverage does cover "vandalism" damage.....
