Headlight replacement

Tried to find the thread that may have talked about this...

F***ing piece of metal flew up at me while on the highway , which I tried to avoid, but it struck the driver's side headlight--which is now cracked-although may have been worse if i didn't have Xpel headlight protection film on.

Do I have to remove the bumper to replace it or can I get by with removing the grill/airbox etc. to make enough room to take everything apart?

I know a few members have swapped out their lights--I am just wondering how labor intensive this is going to be.

Does anyone have any pics of the process too?

I was afraid that was going to be the case--maybe I should switch to an '08 bumper while i've got everything off...
does anybody have detailed pics of the process?

I know there was a post some time ago by mr luv I think but i'm not sure how detailed it was.

Sorry to hear... Have you called your Insurance company?? It might be worth a try... Comprehensive coverage does cover "vandalism" damage.....
