Hey y'all. Right now my Q looks great, but what can I do to keep it that way. I was thinking of some Headlight Protection Film by 3M. Has anyone ever used it? Would it really protect my headlights from rocks? How about the inevitable yellowing and/or fogging? As my baby is all black so it would be cool if I could smoke my headlights perhaps.

Most reputable lens cover companies will include a multi-year warranty. I personally don't use anything on my lenses. I simply polish them periodically to keep them crystal clear. I don't recommend tinting the lenses as that will decrease how far they can illuminate the roadway in front of you. The only upgrade that I have done (and highly recommend) is upgrading the bulbs to Osram Xenarc CBH or CBI. If your car uses D1S or D2S bulbs, they make a HUGE difference in distance, color, and lumens.

I've used Xpel headlight protection on my M37 - they've been on over a year with no signs of yellowing, peeling, flaking, etc, just a couple of small bubbles. They've definitely saved my headlights from some serious shrapnel that would've nicked up or possibly cracked my headlight lenses.

I've got a set now on my Audi RS7, I did a much better job with this application - look almost crystal clear - you can barely tell they're there.

Bought them off of Fleabay instead of from the company - was a ittle cheaper and free shipping.

Thanks guys. Lots to look at and think about from your posts. Curious, if I installed some film and didn't like it... it's easily removed right?
