headlight problems

When i turn my lights on, sometimes the pass.side lights goes out, and if i turn the switch off and turn it back on, it comes back on. i will be driving and it just goes out. Also, my driver side headlight wont go up, but when i do put it up, it goes down. Does that mean i need a new motor for it. Thanks. Car is a 89

as far as the headlight going up n down, check the relay that raises the light, if its ok then get a new motor, light going out sounds like a bad connection, look for it

I noticed when its really cold outside, the lights dont go up when I switch it on, but the light comes on. Then if I switch it back and forth a few times, it comes up...could this just be like the motor getting stuck/stiff cuz of the cold?
