headlight problem...

my headlights are so messed up... ok... They dont want to work at all with just regular lights turned on... if i turn on my brights, the driver side one works but the passenger side still doesnt come on... Turning on the brights doesnt always gaurantee the driver side coming on... sometimes i'll have to flip it back and forth a few times for the driver side to come on... i dont know what the problem is... i've checked all fuses, though i dont have the inside fuse panel to see what i was checking... i've ran a volt meter to the passenger side light with the lights turned on, as brights... it still gets power to the light... help?... any input would be appreciated... this problem is annoying...

wrong forum.

you need to check both hot connections at the bulb. unplug it and check for voltage on the two hot connections. If you have voltage, you probably have a bad bulb.
