Hey all i got a 180sx and i have a headlight problem. I believe the previous owner tried to wire up DRL on my headlight to act as a day time running light on , so it will always be on even if its off. I want to undo it so it will be off when i turn it off and low beam and i low beam. High beams are fine tho. What should i check first??

I'm guessing they either replaced the headlight relay, or added a wire to the headlight relay to an ignition source. Can you see any added wiring by the previous owner?

Hi papasmurf Thanks for the quick reply, sorry i couldnt reply sooner.

I took at my Fuse Box, Took a look at H/L Ret Cont. It looks butchered. Will this control how the power goes?

Ha that might affect if they come back down or not. Sounds like you're going to have to get real friendly with a multi meter and wiring diagram. The wiring diagrams should be available through the factory service manual, which we provide to you for free :)
There is a link to them in my signature.
