Hello All,
I'm new to the forum and have found some good information, but haven't found anything for a specific problem that I have. My uncle recently gave me his 1990 Q45 that is in great condition. It only has 70,000 miles on it and still has everything that came with it when he drove it off the lot, down to the Bose demonstration cassette and spare keys still in the case. The problem is that the headlights do not work. Everything else on the car works, the running lights, brake lights, turn signals, and everything else. I checked the usual suspects including the fuses and bulbs. My uncle thought the problem was with the switch on the steering column, so I took apart the dash and pulled the headlight switch out. I tested the switch with an Ohmmeter and it is working fine. The headlights, as well as the brights do not work, and I was wondering if there is an easy way to test the other components of the system, or if there is a common problem that causes this. Thanks.
