headlight problem
when headlights are on they are only on brights and my parking lights dont work????any ideas???everything was fine when i drove to the gas station....when i started my car to leave thats when it did this....

I had a headlight issue also. When I put the low beams on sometimes the driver side high beam would come on as well. There is a known issue with the headlights relay. I have replaced it & have not had any problems since.

Same here regarding the headlight relay, that can possibly be re-soldered, if cold or cracked solder joints are the cause.J30inthe sun wrote:I had a headlight issue also. Don't think a front parking/corner, side marker or turn signal light issue is related though. Those or both could simply be bulb or switch related.

Did you get a car wash at the gas station? I once had a problem on my '94 where whenever it rained only my high beams worked, no tail lights and no dash lights. It took me 4 trips to the dealer and countless hours for them to finally diagnose the problem as a loose connection at the tail light relay.
