One of my headlights 'went out' so i pulled it out to replace it. When I got the bulb out i noticed that it didn't look fried, so i plugged it into the harness and it worked. I then put it back together and it doesn't work.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be going on?

Are these your headlights or your pilot lights? Have you replaced any bulbs? I have had similar problems with my pilot lights before. That was only because i was using LED as my pilot light temporarily. LEDS still use a - + terminal, and it would sometimes get a little lose when screwing back the bulb housing into the headlight.

Now i am using Philips Crystal Vision Bulbs and they are identical to the OEM lights, difference is the output is white color. Got the headlight and pilot bulbs as a package and they fit perfect.

Good luck Great White

i think he or she might be referring to the stock yellow light bulb that sits above the actual headlight bulb... have you tried picking up some lithium grease and greasing the terminal?

Ummm Not sure if this is the problem you might have. But if you have changed your bulbs to a higher wattage you may have fried the harness, if the wattage is higher that would be the cause of frying it. I would recommend getting a heavy duty harness for your headlights if they are a higher wattage than stock, it was like $10 for a pair of them and prevents a costly fix in case they ever overheat. That is just my though other then that I have no clue at all.

at this point.. it's one of 2 things.. one could be your 2 day running light relay.. if thats the case... replace both because you will never know which 1 is faulty. thats just the nature of nissan's wiring. the other could be one of you fuse. there is a 15 amp fues in the fuse box under the hood. that box looks like a computer chip on a car.. but instead, its a fues box.. you can take it out and see if one of it is poped!
